01 Who we are

SkinDesignLab Canada Inc. (Ontario Corporation No. 1001647520) operates this website. We are the Canadian subsidiary of Skin Design Lab (피부디자인연구소), a cosmetic research, manufacturing and fragrance development company in the Republic of Korea. Both entities may handle the information you send us, as described below.

02 What we collect

• check_smallTechnical information your browser sends automatically, such as IP address and the time of your request, recorded in standard server logs.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this website.

03 Why we collect it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to your inquiry without your consent.

04 Confidentiality of formula and product data

Regulatory and formulation work necessarily involves commercially sensitive information — ingredient lists, concentrations, manufacturer identities and unreleased product plans. We treat this material as confidential.

It is accessed only by the researchers and staff working on your file, is not disclosed to third parties without your instruction, and is not used to develop competing products. Where a formal confidentiality agreement is appropriate, we are glad to execute one before you send anything.

05 How long we keep it

• check_smallClient engagement records: for the duration of the engagement and for the period afterwards required by Canadian tax and corporate record-keeping rules.
• check_smallServer logs: a short rolling period for security and diagnostics.

When information is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for, and no legal obligation requires us to keep it, we destroy it.

06 Cross-border transfer

Because our head office is in the Republic of Korea, information you send us may be accessed from or stored in Korea as well as Canada. Information held in another country is subject to that country's laws, including lawful access by its courts and authorities. We apply the same protections to your information wherever it is held.

07 How we protect it

• check_smallThird-party professionals we engage — accountants, legal counsel, customs brokers, translators — are bound by their own professional confidentiality obligations.

08 Your rights

Under PIPEDA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, withdraw your consent to its use, or ask us to delete it where no legal obligation requires us to keep it.
